About Me

From an early age, I’ve been driven by a deep curiosity about the natural world, technology, and the systems that connect them. That curiosity led me to compete in and be selected for NASA’s prestigious INSPIRE program during high school, an experience that sparked a lasting interest in science and exploration. I began my career in the biological sciences, earning a degree in botany and working with the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a biologist focused on land management and plant protection. While I found the work meaningful, I increasingly saw how critical data, security, and systems are to scientific and environmental efforts.

That realization prompted me to pursue a Master’s degree in Information Technology and Security, where I deepened my technical knowledge and broadened the ways I could contribute to complex, interdisciplinary challenges. In parallel, I also studied Japanese, inspired in part by the value of international collaboration in scientific and technical fields between the US and Japan. I believe that language and cross-cultural understanding are just as vital as technical skills in today’s connected world. Today, I bring together expertise in science, technology, and communication, and I’m passionate about working on projects that require a blend of critical thinking, technical fluency, and a systems-level perspective. Whether contributing to research, building secure digital tools, or helping organizations navigate complex data landscapes, I’m always looking for opportunities to learn, collaborate, and make a meaningful impact
