These actions protected ~2,300 acres of commercial citrus in Harlingen, ensuring uninterrupted harvesting. I Implemented adaptive COVID-safe protocols and regularly checked with local officials to maintain a team schedule without interruption. This role showcased my leadership in high-pressure response operations and cross-agency collaboration.

I briefly joined the Spotted Lanternfly eradication effort in western Pennsylvania as an Environmental Monitor. I collected and analyzed water and soil samples near treatment sites to measure pesticide persistence. As the infestation spread westward, I collaborated with the Ohio team, providing training on pest identification and pesticide application. Using my experience from the Eastern Pennsylvania program.
